Operating from our central office in Birmingham, our IT department not only supports our UK operations, but also plays an essential role in the function of Claire's across Europe. We're responsible for developing, implementing and replacing retail systems, along with providing technical and operational support. The team is extremely diverse in their knowledge, skills and experience - and they certainly need to be.
With a variety of IT systems in place - retail, buying and merchandising, financial, HR, payroll and service desk systems, we're constantly in project delivery mode, building new technical platforms and implementing new applications necessary for future business growth. We're also the technical heroes of Claire's all over Europe - any problem they have, we solve, no matter where in Europe it is - and all this from one central location which is pretty unique.
There is a real commitment in the team to get results and the team spirit is second to none. As we're always on hand to answer an array of IT queries, you never know what new challenges the day will present.
