We're not your 'tea and sympathy' type of HR department. We have a genuine commitment to delivering a commercially-focused HR service which contributes on both a strategic and operational level. Yet at the same time, we never lose sight of the importance of all that falls under 'soft' HR - from ensuring the delivery of effective people management skills, to empathetic, compassionate individual support.
The department's activities are broadly split into four core functions:
- Central office HR
- Retail HR
- Training
- Resourcing
Central office and Retail HR services take responsibility for the delivery of all activities falling under Employee Administration, Employee Relations, Employee Benefits, Recognition and Reward, and Performance Management.
Training covers career planning, bespoke and generic training delivery, coaching and mentoring programmes
Resourcing encompasses anything from basic recruitment guidance and advice, through to fully supported attraction.
