Our European Buying team, with its pan-European remit, is housed in our busy Birmingham based European Central Office and is split into two main divisions - jewellery and accessories.

Jewellery. The jewellery division is divided into ‘fashion, young novelty and special occasion’ and ‘ear piercing, unisex and sterling silver’.

Accessories. A huge growth area at Claire’s, our accessories division looks after a multitude of products, from hair and cosmetics to fashion items such as belts, bags, purses and even footwear.

We source our product globally from the Far East and also more locally from within continental Europe. Having a dedicated European buying team focused on our European market, means that we can react much faster and with greater efficiency to the ever-changing needs of our European customers – sometimes (often) rising to the challenge of delivering a high fashion product within as little as 4 weeks!. The team has complete ‘start to finish’ responsibility for the European product assortment, working closely with our North American counterparts and with RSI our product sourcing team, based in Hong Kong.

Foresight and instinct are huge parts of this fast-paced, challenging area, where being at the forefront of fashion is everything.
