District Sales Management

Our District Sales Managers (DSMs) are ultimately responsible for the performance of stores in a specific district. Results-driven and customer-focused, with strong leadership skills and impressive retail experience, they are responsible for the daily performance of up to 18 Claire's stores. This includes the recruitment, training and development of Store Managers and their teams, producing succession plans to ensure the stores are always staffed and the teams challenged and motivated.

Driving sales is what our DSMs do best. They thrive on new challenges and pride themselves on achieving outstanding results – and they inspire everyone around them to do the same. Because they never settle for anything less than excellent, with strong leadership skills and sound visual merchandising knowledge, they help their teams to achieve retail targets. Our District Sales Managers are hands-on too, spending time in stores coaching and mentoring the store management teams.

Commercially-minded, they set goals and targets for their teams, and give them the tools and support they need to achieve them. Maximising sales is behind everything that our DSMs do. They look closely at every area of a store and key performance indicators to make sure that we're maximising sales.
