"I've always wanted to work in retail, and because I come from a large family, I know if you want something badly enough you have to work for it. And I’ve certainly worked for it! Even at the age of 11, I was packing potatoes because I was too young to go on the shop floor. And I worked my way up to shop manager, aged just 17."

"I'm a people-person, so I loved speaking with customers to discover their likes and dislikes. At the time, my sister worked for Claire's and advised me of an up-and-coming position. The interview alone sold me the job, thanks to the District Sales Manager's enthusiasm and clear love for her job. So I joined Claire's as a Store Manager in inner-city Dublin - a fast paced environment that meant I had to be street-wise and able to deal with a high volume of people and products."
