The right products in the right quantities for the right store at the right time. That's a huge logistical challenge, especially with over 1,000 stores across Europe. Especially when a Claire's store can carry up to 6,000 products at any one time.

Our Supply Chain team source, maintain and distribute stock to make sure that the entire process runs smoothly from start to finish. This team is split into two areas: European Distribution Centre and Logistics.

Our European Distribution Centre in Birmingham looks after every one of our 1,000 European stores. Which means packing, on average, 10,500 boxes a week and loading up to four articulated lorries every single day. Making sure such a complex operation runs efficiently takes a committed, hardworking Distribution team, from operators to supervisors.

The Logistics team work with Merchandising colleagues to ensure that the right quantities of the right product arrive in our European Distribution Centre. We work together to make sure that all the paperwork's in place, that flight and shipping schedules are met, and that most importantly, all of our stock is delivered on time to our European Distribution Centre. While our stock distribution is handled by a third party carrier, we manage every aspect of this important relationship.
