the interview itself

When you come for interview, take care over your appearance.  Maintain a positive attitude and a confident friendly approach. Be on time. Arriving 10-15 minutes early is not a bad thing.

We will do our best to encourage you to relax, enjoy the experience and remain relaxed and friendly. Think about your body language - try not to slouch or fidget. Smile and maintain eye contact with the interviewer.  Be clear and concise and don't waffle. And importantly, just be yourself - don't put on an act.

Don't just answer questions, ask them as well - make the interview a discussion if you can. Don't be afraid to clarify questions if you don't understand at first.

Be positive and reassuring, sell your attributes and quote your achievements as we truly want to hear about them.

Make sure you bring along your current CV as we may have an old one you sent us along the way. Do you have any work examples you could show us?

Good luck and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call the Training and Resourcing Team. We will be only too happy to talk things through with you.
